Bethea Family Foundation is launching our SafeHaven Empowerment Center that will be dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Our mission is to inspire and empower the next generation through forward thinking programs designed to advance their futures.
We will offer a range of programs and services that cater to the unique needs of each child, fostering their growth and development. From educational support to extracurricular activities, SafeHaven is committed to making a lasting impact on the lives of the youth in our community. Our Mission
The mission of the Bethea Family Foundation is to engage with community organizations and schools to provide access and resources that will allow youth to experience learning success.
Our Vision
A future for every student to have access to higher education regardless of their environment, financial status or lack of family support.
Our Impact
Since 2010, our foundation has impacted thousands of children, families and individuals in Newport News, VA and in communities across the country. Through our outreach efforts, we have hosted Christmas Shopping Sprees, Coat Drives, Football Camps, College Tours, Turkey Giveaways, visited hospitals and jails in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, New York, New Jersey and Washington D.C.
Through the Bethea Family Foundation events and initiatives, we provide resources to youth ages 13 to 18 during the academic year and inspire hope to families during the holidays. Our projects and programs are designed to educate, empower and expose.
